Are cameo rings still in fashion?

would it look cute, or just weird? I wear a lot of lace and stuff, and I love cameo rings. I'm 18 years old if that makes a difference. what's your opinion? what about a much cheaper replica of the queens ring? the sapphire ring, Kate middletons engagement ring? any vintange ring along those lines. hot or not?
