Car advice- Is this range rover a good buy?

Im thinking about buying a range rover on craigslist. It's a 2004 with 90000 miles for 17000. If you have a range rover, do they break down like some people say they do? The type of car i get is really important to me but i cant afford much over 20000 so dont tell me to get another car. Also, am i getting my moneys worth with this deal? thanks
