Any ideas for a cheap 4wd?

Hi i was hoping to get some opinions on cheap 4x4 in Australia, how much to buy one and the running cost fuel and spares. I've had 2 jeeps and had nothing but problems jeep, Land rover disco + Patrol GQ was great other then cost of parts.
