I am planning to buy land rover defender 110 SW.?

The latest LR's are pretty rubbish, but the old ones are not only bomb-proof, but they can be fixed cheaply and easily by anyone who had Mechano as a lad! The 110 (which designates a 110" wheelbase, in case you didn't know) is a great car that will take everything you can throw at it and more, though as you notice it doesn't have a great deal of power. The torque is pretty good though, but if you can afford it then buy (or upgrade to) the Rover 3.5 V8 engine version which is once again easy enough, and more than enough power and torque, as well as being hugely reliable!
