Half Baked reference in Capital One Alec Baldwin commercial?

I've seen half baked a million times... I've never seen the Commercial but it doesn't seem like a direct reference to me. since capital one has nothing at all to do with half baked (half baked being about pot heads and capital one being about credit cards) I think buttercup is just a popular name for a horse (hence why they used it in half baked) :)
