Where is the starter motor on a Rover 200?

I have an S reg Rover 200 and it is inconsistent in starting. A friend has advised me to clean the connections to the starter motor but I have absolutely no interest or knowledge of cars and am completely unable to spot the starter motor. Any ideas?
